Vikram Bhatt released from Udaipur jail

Udaipur: Bollywood film director Vikram Bhatt Thursday came out of Udaipur Central Jail after he and his wife Shwetambari Bhatt were granted regular bail by the Supreme Court in a fraud case allegedly linked to a film project. Speaking to the media after his release, he said, "I spent around two and a half months in jail. I didn't just hope but believed that the truth would eventually come out."Bhatt and his wife Shewtambari were arrested on Dec 7, 2025, in connection with the alleged fraud case. His wife was released earlier on Feb 13 after being granted interim bail.
