Vidhya Nagar Assembly Election Result 2023: Diya Kumari, a prominent BJP leader, emerged victorious in the Vidhyadhar Nagar assembly seat with a substantial lead of 71,368 votes. Diya Kumari secured the win by defeating Sitaram Agarwal of INC and Sanjay Biyani of AAP.

In Rajasthan, the BJP is poised for success, with its candidates either securing victories or leading in 114 seats. In contrast, the Congress is trailing with 70 seats, according to the Election Commission trends for the assembly polls.

Diya Kumari, the BJP candidate and current Rajsamand MP, secured victory in the Vidhyadhar Nagar seat during the Rajasthan Assembly polls on Sunday, with an impressive lead of 71,368 votes. Hailing from the former Jaipur royal family, Diya Kumari defeated Congress candidate Sitaram Agrawal, garnering 1,58,516 votes and surpassing Agarwal, who received 87,148 votes.

In the 2018 elections, Vidhyadhar Nagar witnessed significant voter participation with a total of 321,653 voters, and 225,843 valid votes were cast. During that election, Narpat Singh Rajvi, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate, emerged victorious with 95,599 votes. He surpassed Sitaram Agarwal of the Indian National Congress, who secured 64,367 votes, leading to a substantial victory margin of 31,232 votes.
