Union minister shares joy with soldiers on border

on Saturday visited the Indo-Pak border adjoining

Jaisalmer

and celebrated Diwali with the BSF jawans here. BSF 50th battalion commandant HS Tolia, 2IC officer Anil Kumar and other officers and jawans were also present.


The jawans are celebrating Diwali at the border, far from their homes and families. The union minister visited them to share the joy of the festivities with the jawans.

The Indian side of the border was lit with flood lights, lamps and candles. Jawans have decorated BOPs and the fencing with attractive lights. Jawans and officers distributed sweets and extended Diwali wishes.

Choudhary reached Raithanwala BOP of 56th battalion in Myaajlar area and spent time with the jawans there. He personally offered sweets to every soldier.

He also interacted with the jawans and listened to their problems.
