Two youths killed in mishap

JAIPUR: Two youngsters on a bike coming to Jaipur were mowed down by a rashly driven unidentified vehicle near 200 feet bypass on the Ajmer road on Saturday morning. Police were on the job of identifying the vehicle while they have registered a case of causing death due to negligence against unknown persons.
According to the police the incident took place at 7.30 am in the morning when the two persons identified as Abhimanu Gujjar(26) and Satender Raiger(17) were coming towards Jaipur from Girdharipura slum area in Karni Vihar locality.“They were mowed down by an unidentified vehicle. Some passers’ by informed the police control room and also to the 108 ambulance for the immediate intervention,” said a senior police officer.
Police said that both the youngsters were not wearing any helmet. “The collision was of course nasty still it appears that not wearing helmet proved fatal,” said an officer.
