Jaipur: Two low-intensity earthquakes in a span of 20 minutes soon after Monday midnight were felt in Jaipur, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Tonk, Jalore and Bundi districts of the state. No loss of life or property was reported from anywhere.
According to the national centre for seismology, the first earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale was felt at 12.27 am, the epicentre of which was Anoopgarh in Sriganganagar.
Few minutes later at 12.36am, another earthquake measuring 3.8 on the Richter scale, was felt in Jaipur, the epicentre of which was between Phaagi and Chaasku on the outskirts of Jaipur. tnn
