JAIPUR: The state Anti-Terrorist Squad (

ATS

) nabbed two members of a gang from Karauli’s Hindaun city on Wednesday for making fake documents of the Army and government.

Anil Paliwal, ADG, ATS and SOG said, “We received information that a gang was operating in Hindaun city which was making fake confidential documents of army and the government. Our Kota unit team started an investigation over a month ago and started visiting the nearby villages. Once information was confirmed, we arrested the two accused from a computer shop.” The two accused were identified as 38-year-old Shailesh Jain and 34-year-old Sahiram Singh. Cops also found fake discharge diaries, seals, stamps and identification cards of the army. Apart from fake rubber stamps of multiple schools, counterfeit marksheets along with photocopies of degrees of universities and colleges were also found.

Cops are questioning the arrested to find more details about their scam and accomplices.
