3 killed in car-truck collision on Del-Mumbai expressway in Alwar

Alwar: Three men died when the car they were travelling in collided with a truck on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway under Naugaon police station in Alwar district in the wee hours of Wednesday.Police said the three deceased—Anish (22), Vikas (25) and Vivek (26)—were residents of Sikar and returning from Delhi, carrying merchandise. The accident took place about 2am and apparently during an overtaking attempt by the truck, said police.ASI Narendra Singh Chaudhary said a police team reached the site immediately after receiving information about the accident. The three men were extricated from the mangled car and rushed to the community health centre at Barodamev by a highway police ambulance. The trio was pronounced dead upon arrival.Post-mortem of the three bodies were conducted, and the bodies were handed over to their families on Wednesday afternoon.
