Jaisalmer: IAS officer Tina Dabi took charge as Jaisalmer district collector on Wednesday. She also took charge as the administrator of Jaisalmer Central Cooperative Bank and chairperson of Urban Improvement Trust.
Dabi said efforts would be made to improve the city’s air connectivity. She said the city would be beautified and its cleanliness improved so that tourists carry good memories back with them. She said that tourists coming to Jaisalmer certainly go to the border and looking at it, the incomplete border tourism project would be completed soon and the Seema darshan project will be started so that tourism gets a further boost.
The district collector said since Jaisalmer is lagging behind in girls’ education, she will take steps to improve it.
In just a few hours after taking charge, she got feedback about drinking water problems. TNN
