Sumit Godara’s hundred steers Rajasthan to semifinals in the Men’s U-23 State A Trophy Elite

Jaipur: Riding on a fabulous century by opener Sumit Godara, Rajasthan trounced Maharashtra by five wickets in the Men's U-23 State A Trophy Elite quarter-final at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Wednesday. Chasing a challenging target, Rajasthan lost the first couple of wickets cheaply but Godara (109: 121b, 8x4, 4x6) in the company of Karan Lamba (51 not out) and Amol Chelani (47) guided his team to semifinals.Earlier, put into bat, Maharashtra were all out for 245 in their allotted 50 overs.
