State govt lifts ban on transfers in Rajasthan

The government however has not allowed any transfers in the education department as it would cause disturbance in the ongoing academic session besides it could not finalize the transfer policy as directed by the Rajasthan

and postings in all the departments except education. The decision to lift ban on transfers come after more than a year. Last time the transfer ban was lifted for a month from May 15 to June 15 in 2015. The temporary lift in transfers will be effective from September 9 to 28, said a government release. However the government made it clear that those who get transfers would not get joining time. This rule is effective to all the government departments, corporations and autonomous bodies.high court
