Showroom owner assulted

JAIPUR: A owner of a Reebok showroom in Vidhyadhar Nagar area was severely thrashed by some youths while the former was returning home after closing his shop late on Friday night. The police said he was rushed to hospital. They are clueless about the attackers.
According to the police, Ram Singh, owns a showroom in Vidhyadhar Nagar. "He had closed the showroom and was walking home when three youths came on a motorcycle and started thrashing him," said Ahad Khan, in-charge of Vidhyadhar Nagar police station.
He said the police went to investigate when informed by some passers-by and rushed the victim to hospital.
"We recorded his statement, but he is not able to give us any clue. He neither saw the attackers properly nor did he notice the registration number of the bike," said the officer. An investigation is on, he added.
