Jaipur: Services hold the edge over Rajasthan with a 223-run lead as they move into third day of their Group C Ranji Trophy match at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur on Wednesday.
Pulkit Narang proved to be the thorn in the flesh of Rajasthan as he guided Services to a position of strength. Services made 181-2 in their second innings after bowling out Rajasthan for 136 courtesy a five-wicket haul by Narang. Yash Kothari top-scored with 34. Sachidanand Pandey got two wickets.
At stumps, Ravi Chauhan and Lovekesh Bansal– both guilty of succumbing to irresponsible shots in the first essay – showed determination this time around, were at the crease with 97 and 22, respectively. Deepak Chahar and Manav Suthar took one wicket each for Rajasthan.
Brief scores: Services 178 and 181-2. Rajasthan 136.
