Jaipur: State Election Commissioner Rajeshwar Singh Wednesday announced the final voter list for the Municipal Body Elections–2026, with electoral rolls published for 195 of the state’s 309 urban local bodies.
“Out of the 309 local bodies in the state, the voter lists for 195 bodies have been published. The voter lists of the remaining 113 local bodies are proceeding separately,” a press release issued by the State Election Commission (SEC) office stated.
According to the SEC, the draft voter list released on Feb 20, had 1,13,29,913 voters. After revision, 2,27,879 new voters were added and 5,49,916 names were deleted. The final published list for the 195 urban local bodies now stands at 1,10,07,876 voters.
“This final voter list, published for the 195 municipal bodies across the state, includes 5,657,921 male voters, 5,349,578 female voters, and 377 transgender voters,” said Singh.
