RU teams up with NSUI, NGO to give free coaching for job exams
Jaipur: The Rajasthan University (RU) in collaboration with Ek Pahal India Sansthan and National Students Union of India (NSUI) will start giving free coaching to students across the state for competitive examinations like IAS, RAS through online mode.On Wednesday, vice chancellor Rajeev Jain during a media briefing said, “A hall in the university premises has been given to the institution who will be holding classes for competitive examinations. In the university, around 200-250 students can attend the class offline but the lectures will be streamed online to all government colleges of the state and lakhs of students will be able to benefit from this initiative.”Officials said that LED screens are being installed at a hall in the university and such screens have already been installed in 53 other government colleges in the state. They further said that no fee will be taken from the students for this initiative, students taking classes in online mode will be able to ask their doubts and get it cleared in real-time. Representatives from NSUI said that approximately 3,000 LED screens will be installed across all higher education institutes in the state as part of this initiative.Abhishek Chaudhary, NSUI state president said, “In collaboration with Ek Pahal India Sansthan, preparation for competitive examinations will be given free of cost in every government college of the state and University of Rajasthan. The financial resources for this initiative will be provided by NSUI and other institutions. The university is providing us space in the APTC center where offline classes will be conducted, and more than 100 IAS/RAS officers and teachers will take classes here which will be telecast live in various colleges and universities of the state.”Forms for enrolling in this initiative will be available on the official website of University of Rajasthan from February 27. If some colleges or institutions, request offline classes in their premises, then arrangements for that will also be made said representatives from NSUI.
