Royals go tiger spotting in Ranthambore

Players of Rajasthan Royals know how to celebrate their victory in style. Recently, following their win against Delhi Daredevils at the ongoing IPL, the players headed to a heritage property in Jaipur and savoured authentic Rajasthani cuisine. And now, after defeating the Mumbai Indians on Sunday, the players decided to treat themselves to a jungle safari.

On Tuesday evening, cricketers including Ajinkya Rahane, Jayadev Unadkat, Rahul Tripathi, Dhawal Kulkarni (some accompanied by their spouses), fielding coach Dishant Yagnik, headed to the

Ranthambore National Park

. And they travelled to Sawai Madhopur, where the national park is located, on the luxury train, Palace on Wheels.

All-rounder Krishnappa Gowtham told us, “Its been an awesome journey with the Rajasthan team, not only on the field but off it too. The trip to Ranthambore has been a memorable experience. Travelling on a luxury train and then getting to spot a tiger at the safari – it was amazing.”
