Robbery bid foiled at jewellery shop

Jaipur: A shop owner foiled an armed robbery at his jewellery shop when he confronted the gunman head-on, just as a constable arrived in the nick of time and overpowered the suspect at Johari Bazar on Thursday.
ACP (Manak Chowk) Hemant Jhakhar said that despite the accused firing a shot the situation was quickly brought under control as the accused was rounded up.
Constable Vijay Singh said he was patrolling when someone tipped him off about the armed robbery in Johari Bazar. TNN
