Without mentioning the incident, she said there should not be fight over land matters as her government has set up revenue courts to ensure the pending cases are cleared at the earliest.
"Fight over a piece of land sometimes turns so violent that people lose their lives. No conflict is so complex that it cannot be solved through talks," said Raje. She added that Rajasthan has place for all communities and everyone should live happily together.
During the event two farmers at the state level, 64 at the district and 432 at the panchayat levels were honoured for their innovation and exemplary work. The awards were given for the year 2013-14 and 2014-15. "I have used drip irrigation system to increase the productivity of my farms. This has not only increased productivity but also reduced dependency on water," said Lehar Kanwar, who received Rs 25,000 for the innovative practice.
The state government is also planning to send a select group of farmers from state to Israel and Netherlands to learn best practices in agriculture.
Meanwhile, the chief minister said that Resurgent Rajasthan will not only catalyze investments for industrial development but also strengthen the agriculture sector.
"New technologies are emerging and we want that farm sector should be benefitted from it. If tomatoes can be stored for 10 days or more, farmers can choose the market and send their produce to fetch better prices. Resurgent Rajasthan will pitch for investments in cattle feed, poultry and agriculture infrastructure," added Raje.
The chief minister emphasized on the use of natural manure over fertilizers. "I am a farmer too. Without using urea or DAP, I am able to grow vegetables which are healthy and delicious," she added.
