JAIPUR: Rash driving claimed two lives in different parts of the city. Vinod Kumar, 32, who was returning after getting admission form for MA (Previous) exam from Kota Open University was hit by a rashly driven bike coming from Bajaj Nagar area at the Jawahar Kala Kendra. Kumar sustained severe head injuries and was rushed to the SMS hospital where he was declared dead.
"A case under appropriate Sections of IPC was registered against the biker, identified as Sanjay.

He was arrested. The accused has also sustained injuries," Deputy commissioner of police (Traffic), Rohit Mahajan, said. His body was handed over to his relatives after post-mortem.
In another road accident, a chief accountant with a private company at Kukas was killed after being hit by a rashly driven truck. Chandra Mohan Gupta, 42, succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. A case was registered against the absconding truck driver.
