Jaipur: Keeping in view the interest of sports and players, Rajasthan State Sports Council on Monday has constituted a steering committee comprising former cricketers for effective supervision, proper operation and protection of cricket activities in the state and to provide guidance/suggestions as and when required.
Former Rajasthan wicketkeeper-batsman and captain Rohit Jhalani along with senior state cricketers Vinod Mathur, Deepak Jain, Megha Gaur, Kuldeep Mathur, Gagan Khoda and Sanjay Vyas have been included in the steering panel.
The above committee will regularly submit its report from time to time to the chairman, Rajasthan State Sports Council, Neeraj Kumar Pawan.
