Rajasthan high court becomes the fourth state to launch e-stamp facility
JAIPUR: Rajasthan High Court becomes the fourth state to provide E-stamp facility on Friday.
As a new initiative of information and technology, e-Stamp Facility was inaugurated on Friday in Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur and Jaipur bench simultaneously. In Jaipur, eCourt Fees Centre was inaugurated by Chief Justice Navin Sinha while in Jodhpur, the facility was launched by Justice Govind Mathur.
With this, Rajasthan has become Fourth State in the country to provide this facility. Before this, the facility was available in Delhi,
In the Basement of Rajasthan High Court Bench, Jaipur, eCourt Fees Centre with three Counters has been setup. Similar centre has also been setup in Rajasthan High Court Premises at Jodhpur. Very soon the online facility of e-Stamps would also be started. In the second phase, this facility in District Courts would also be considered.
On eCourt Fees Centre, required stamps would be immediately made available to pay the Court Fees of any amount. E-Stamps would be available on the rates of present prevalent stamps; no additional charges will be taken. With the launching of this facility the instances of non-availability of stamps would never occur. Payment of court fees through e-Stamp is simple, easy and secure process. From the Bar Code of e-Stamp it can be find out that it is correct & genuine and not pre-used. This way, the facility is completely secure and reliable and there is no possibility of any forgery or tampering.
