JAIPUR: Known for his poetry,
Manan Bhardwaj from Jaipur
has added another feather on his cap on Monday. A guitarist and state level footballer has secured
AIR 150
in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (
NEET) result.
“I am achieving my dreams one after another. I am hoping to secure a seat in the top medical college in the country,” said Bhardwaj, whose first book on poems is slated to come out this December. “It will be a great feeling that while I will be brushing my hands with medical equipment my first book will be released,” said Bhardwaj.
Bhardwaj shared the phase of his life which shaped his future. He went into depression after he was unable to crack the NTSE exam. “I am a sensitive student. The feeling that I failed in the basic exam was very painful. I started reducing my social group and preferring to live in isolation. There came a moment which changed my life forever. I started writing poems and later on I started writing on several subjects. It has given me confidence and icing on the cake was people started liking it,” said Bhardwaj.
The poetry added with guitar has made him popular among his circles. “Most of the poems were on my subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. My hobbies have never put me in stress. It has made me more confident and energized to work harder,” said Bhardwaj.
He was off from the social media for two years. Whenever
Bhardwaj
used to get bored of studying, he used to sing along with his colony friends for refreshment.
He also mentioned that peer pressure has always been an inspiration for him. Whenever he saw his friends achieving medals in Olympiads or any other exams, he made it as his source of motivation to work harder.
He used to study for about 8-12 hours a day. His role model is his father who is an alumnus of SMS Medical College.
