Petrol pumps to remain fully shut in Rajasthan from Oct 2

JAIPUR: Protesting over the inaction of the government in reducing VAT on petrol and diesel, fuel pump dealers will continue to keep the outlets shut between 8-10pm.

Rajendra Singh Bhati, president of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, said that they are still awaiting a decision from the government. “If the decision does not come, we will have no option but to go on indefinite strike from October 2 and the fuel stations will remain closed completely. Stations will be shut stations on October 1 between 6am to 6pm.
