Ajmer: The district administration has asked people of Kharikoi region, who came in contact with the infected family, to come forward for a test.
Four members of a family had tested positive for
coronavirus in Kharikoi.
The administration said this will help treat them on time. After the family tested positive, curfew was imposed in the area as well as in the jurisdiction of four police stations.
In Ajmer, a 23-year-old salesman was found infected with coronavirus on Saturday and the next day his father, mother and brother also were found coronavirus positive.
District collector Vishwa Mohan Sharma told reporters on Monday that the administration is appealing to those who came in contact with the infected family. He said there is no need to fear.
“They should come out and help the administration by undergoing the test,” said the collector.
He said if they are infected then there are possibilities that their families will also get the infection. Medical teams in Kharikoi region are identifying people who came in contact with the infected family, including the maulana of the Kharikoi Masjid. The district collector said the tests for coronavirus are being conducted in JLN Hospital and samples are also being sent to SMS Hospital for verification.
