RANTHAMBHORE: The Aman-e-Khas in Ranthambore turned into a fortress on Friday as British actor Russell Brand and his partner American pop singer Katy Perry, who are due to tie the knot on Saturday lounged around with other celebrities including Jonathan Ross, David Walliams and Rihanna.
The celebrity couple is reportedly getting hitched according to Hindu traditions at the resort.
A large lorry blocked the way for any traffic movement beyond the resort's gates.

Armed with bamboo sticks, men stood guard at regular intervals all along the boundary. Canvas spreads further screened the resort from any prying eye.
During the day, several Mercedes and volvo vans were seen arriving at the venue. According to sources, "The couple has virtually bought the palace. The floral decorations at the resort have started. A three-level security has been put in place and even the wedding invitation has an electronic swipe for the guests. Each person entering the resort has been issued identity cards. Besides every employee or vendor entering the resort has to deposit cell phone at the entrance with the security."
While all the preparations are being taken care of by a Delhi-based company, Russell and Katy are believed to have signed a bond with the hotels where the guests have been put up. After the wedding, the guests are expected to stay on till October 26. At Ranthambhore, these high-profile guests are said to be indulging in yoga, meditation and spa.
Ironically, Katy would have to do without loud music at her wedding. "Last evening loud music was being played at the resort that is surrounded by the sanctuary. As it disturbs the wildlife, the guests were asked to turn it off," a source said. The Bollywood dance and music evening planned for Friday evening will also have to do without loud music, and within the permitted time limit," he said.

Amid celebrations, things got a little unpleasant when the couple was stalked by the media during an afternoon safari.
"Katy and Perry were going in a gypsy when the scribes started following them and clicking pictures. Russell's personal security guards snatched the cameras and thrashed them. The photographers too lost their cool and attacked. The couple had to be taken back in another car," a source said.
Besides, a special track has been made right behind the resort that is supposed to take the guests on a night safari through the forest. "They had to break down a part of the forest wall and fell two-three trees to build the track," said a source.
