No trace yet of boy who drowned in Baran

JAIPUR: A 10-year-old boy drowned in the canal at Kundla village of Baran district, under the limits of the Siswali police station. Even 24 hours later, his body has not been recovered.
The police officer in charge of the area, Rameshwar Choudhary, said the boy had been attempting to fill drinking water in a vessel from the Shahpura canal when his feet slipped.His kin were working in fields nearby.
Policemen and others have met with no success in their attempts to retrieve the body. On Friday, a rescue team arrived from Kota to aid the search operations.
