Neighbour accused of molesting girl in city

Jaipur: The city police are investigating a case of alleged molestation of a 17-year-old girl by her neighbour.A senior police official said that the minor’s family on Tuesday filed an FIR in the case. The girl’s mother alleged that she had gone to her job when she received a call from her daughter to save her. “The family has alleged that the accused lived in a different portion of the same house. He entered the room when the girl was alone. He locked the door and molested her by touching her inappropriately,” said an official.She called her mother and she came to rescue her daughter. The accused fled from the secne. The girl’s mother filed a complaint and also identified the accused. Police filed a case under IPC Sections 354 (assault or criminal force to a woman with intent to outrage her modesty), and 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), etc. tnn
