RPSC claimed that their question paper system is leak-proof.
Police arrested four accused including the owner of one Marathon Coaching Centre of Nagaur, Ashok Vishnoi. On Monday afternoon Civil Lines police of Ajmer detained a suspended employee of Rajasthan Public Service Commission, Parkash Parcha.
It came out that this racket had been working to collect large amount of money from the candidates appearing in this examination in exchange of providing them question paper as well as helping them to cheat during exam. Inspector general of police, Ajmer range, Biju Gorge Joseph while talking to media in Tonk district said that police is collecting all evidence in this matter.
Meanwhile, police also approached RPSC and collected some documents to verify the information of candidates appearing in this examination. RPSC chairman Deepak Uprati said that police approached the commission for information. He added that they are giving all possible support to the police in investigation.
It came out that the racket was of leaking fake papers and collecting money from candidates. The matter was a sensitive issue as in 2013 the question paper of RAS examination had leaked. It had to be cancelled later and a special investigation team probed the matter and arrested all the accused.
According to sources, Nagaur police got a tip off that Ashok Vishnoi who is running a coaching centre at his residence on Deh Road in Nagaur was claiming to provide question papers of different examinations. The police raided Vishnoi’s residence and found some roll numbers of candidates in his procession. These roll numbers were of some who had appeared for the teachers’ selection examination of English held on October 28. “More evidence was found in which the name of Parkash Parcha was found. Parcha is a suspended employee of RPSC. We verified and found that Parkash was accused of being involved in previous paper leak racket also,” said police.
