Murder of businessmen: 4 held in Jaipur

JAIPUR: Police on Wednesday arrested four persons for beating a 40-year-old property dealer to death in full public view 15 days ago in Kardhani.

ACP (Jhotwara) Pramod Kumar Swami said the accused were identified as Sagar Singh, Jitendra Singh, Durgesh Singh, and Shailendra Singh.

The accused had attacked Virendra Singh with sticks and rods on November 9. He succumbed to injuries a day later in a hospital. Swami said the accused had plotted a scheme to kill Virendra because they wanted to extort money from different businessmen by threatening them.
