MLA lays water tank’s foundation

Jaipur: To provide water to residents of at least five wards under JMC-Greater, the PHED would construct a water tank with capacity of more than 7 lakhs litres. On Sunday, MLA Bagru Ganga Devi laid the foundation stone of the project. The MLA had taken up the issue with the PHED minister. TNN

No PHED panel yet for promotion of engineers

The delay in implementing the departmental promotional committee for the Public Health and Engineering Department (PHED) in Rajasthan has affected its day-to-day work. The urban development and housing department has taken back projects from PHED due to this delay. The Rajasthan State Engineering Services Association has requested the implementation of the committee. The uncertainty of the implementation of the committee for PHED and water resources department is causing concern, especially with the model code of conduct expected soon.

Yogi Adityanath inaugurates, lays foundation stone of projects worth Rs 343 crore in Gorakhpur

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 76 projects worth Rs 343 crore in Gorakhpur district. He emphasized the importance of a strong legal system for maintaining law and order, and warned that those who hinder development projects will be exposed. Adityanath praised Gorakhpur for its development and progress in the last six years. He also highlighted various initiatives such as the re-establishment of fertiliser plants, AIIMS, and educational institutions, and honored sanitation workers and beneficiaries of government schemes.

PM Narendra Modi to lay foundation stone of international stadium in Varanasi

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone for a new international cricket stadium in Varanasi on September 23. The stadium, estimated to cost Rs 450 crore, will have a seating capacity for 30,000 spectators and will feature modern amenities. The ceremony is expected to be a grand event with the involvement of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and star cricketers. Once completed, the stadium will be able to host international cricket matches. The development of roads and other facilities in the vicinity will also commence soon.
