JAISALMER: In a region where newborn girl child is still killed, one
Gaurav Bhatia is a class apart. Gaurav, father of three girls, donated a part of his liver to save his one-and-half year old daughter, Suhana. The operation was conducted at Gurgaon's Medanta Hospital on January 13 this year, where the child underwent a major surgery. Though she is now out of danger she is still in the ICU.
Gaurav not only gave a part of his liver but even spent over Rs 25 lakh to save his daughter. The desperate father spent his entire savings and also borrowed money from friends and relatives to give the girl a new life. His economic condition has deteriorated after the operation. Now, Gaurav has written to the state government requesting for some help.
Gaurav's father Dayanand Bhatia said that one-and-a-half years ago his son had twins (both daughters). One girl was healthy while the other had stomach ailment. She was taken to several doctors in Jodhpur, Ahmedabad and other places but none could diagnose her problem. Finally she was taken to Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon, where the child was diagnosed with serious liver problem.
The child's operation lasted for 17 hours where a part of Gaurav's liver was taken. Even Gaurav's operation took 15 hours. He was discharged on Monday. Dayanand said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched 'Beti Bachao Beti Padao' scheme which is wonderful and Gaurav has truly followed this.

The youth named gaurav bhatia gave a part of his liver that was transplanted to the child and along with has spent over Rs 25 lakhs. The middle class gauran spent his entire savings along with taking loans from friends and relatives gave life to the baby. Although, after this medical treatment, his situation has become pitiable and has written a letter to the state govt to extend some help.

He said that on the doctors' advice, on january 13, the chlld underwent a major operation that lasted for 17 hours in which a part of liver of gaurav was transplanted. even gaurav's operation went for 15 hours. gaurav was discharged on monday, where his grand daughter suhana is still in ICU. he said till now over Rs 25 lakh has been spent on operation of both. he said that they hail from middle class family and gaurav did not left any stones unturned to save his third daughter and they are ready to sacrifice anything to save her life. Dayanand said that prime minister modi launched beti bachao beti padao schem which is really incredible and gaurav has also saved his daughter.
