4 held from Maha for stealing diesel from fuel stns in Rajasthan
Jaipur: Jaipur (Rural) police arrested four persons from Maharashtra on Saturday for stealing diesel from filling stations in Rajasthan. The accused were identified as Bhima Kale, Lala Kale, Ganesh Pawar, and Ram Pawar.According to police, the accused transported goods from Maharashtra to Rajasthan. To steal diesel, they targeted deserted filling stations at night. Parking trucks near the stations, they pretended to be cooking food nearby. Using small pumps and pipes, they siphoned diesel from the station's tank, filling jerry cans with it. They later used this stolen diesel for their tractors when they returned to Maharashtra.Police said the gang was involved in diesel thefts across several districts in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and even Maharashtra. A senior official stated that investigation revealed the accused used the stolen diesel for their personal use at home. Police had received information from several areas in Rajasthan indicating that a gang was involved in stealing diesel.
