NEW DELHI: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has charged three activists of the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) for their involvement in radicalizing Muslim youths and providing them with weapons training. The accused, Vajid Ali, Mubarik Ali, and Shamsher Khan, are facing charges in the Rajasthan PFI conspiracy case.
The NIA had previously filed a chargesheet against Asif, Sadiq Sarraf, and Mohd Sohail in the same case.

The case pertains to the PFI's plot to radicalize Muslim youths and equip them with weapons to combat those who oppose the PFI's interpretation of Islam and the Indian government. Vajid Ali, Mubarik Ali, and Shamsher Khan conspired with other co-accused individuals to train susceptible Muslims in weapon handling and use, with the intention of carrying out violent acts.
The NIA also discovered, as per an official, that the accused were involved in organizing arms training camps for the PFI, with the "ultimate goal of establishing Islamic rule in India by 2047".
