Jaisalmer: 51st inter-frontier support weapon shooting competition going on at Kishangarh field firing range in Jaisalmer concluded on Saturday evening.
Rajasthan Frontier IG David Lalrinsinga was the chief guest. BSF Sector North DIG Aseem Vyas, Sector South DIG Anand Singh Takshak were present during the programme. Gujarat frontier was declared as the winner. More than 600 BSF jawans and officers from various parts of the country took part in this fire power exercise.
According to information from BSF official sources, the 51st inter-frontier support weapon shooting competition started from November 2 and concluded on November 5, 2022, at Kishangarh field firing range.
11 frontier headquarters deployed in various border areas of the country showed their war skill by hitting the target with medium machine gun and 81mm mortar.
According to the sources, in 81mm mortar competition Gujarat Frontier headquarters bagged the first position followed by North Bengal Frontier headquarters on second position and Rajasthan Frontier headquarters grabbed the third position.
In medium machine gun competition, North Bengal Frontier headquarters, Gujarat Frontier headquarters was on the first and second positions, respectively. While Gujarat Frontier headquarters was at the top position overall. The IG gave away the trophy and medal to the winners of all categories in this competition and boosted their morale and also joint the feast. tnn
