Inmate flees from Jaipur Central Jail

JAIPUR: A murder convict fled from the Central Jail here in the wee hours today, jail authorities said.
Rajesh Morya of Murena, who was working as a cook in the jail and went to the kitchen around 0400 hours but after that he was not seen, DG Jails Omendra Bhardwaj said.
Meanwhile, Bassi police have claimed to have caught a person resembling Rajesh, the IGP-Jaipur Range B L Soni said, adding Morya's antecedents were being verified with the Jail authorities.
