Besides India, the other participating teams in the ten-day long tourney are England, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

"India's participation in the Champions Trophy 2025 is a proud moment for the entire nation. This prestigious tournament in Colombo not only offers a platform for our players to showcase their talent but also highlights the importance of inclusivity in sports," Disabled Cricket Council of India (DCCI) general secretary Ravi Chauhan told TOI on Thursday.

The DCCI conducted the Challengers Trophy last month at the same venue in Jaipur in which four teams competed for the top honours. On the basis of that tournament, DCCI shortlisted 25 players for the camp. The team will fly to Colombo from Delhi next week.

"Our head coach Rohit Jhalani is supervising the camp. The boys will also play a couple of practice matches. We will announce the final 17-member team after the end of the camp," added Ravi Chauhan.
