IG Satyendra Singh, Vikas Kumar among 17 cops to receive medals

Jaipur: The Union ministry of home affairs announced on the eve of Republic Day 2025 the prestigious President's police medal for distinguished service to inspector general Satyendra Singh of Rajasthan Police. In addition, 16 police officers and personnel, including IG Vikas Kumar, were selected to receive police medals for their exemplary contributions to law enforcement and public service.Director general of police UR Sahu extended his congratulations to all the awardees. The list of recipients includes additional SP Piyush Dixit of CID-SSB Jaipur, additional DCP Rajendra Prasad from Jodhpur Commissionerate, and circle officer Ram Pratap Bishnoi from Nagaur. DySP Vijay Singh of Jaipur discom was also honoured, along with Inspectors Hanwant Singh Rajpurohit of Hiranmagri police station and Manoj Kumar Sharma of Kotgate police station in Bikaner.Sub-inspectors Sheela of CID-SB unit Rajsamand Zone and Purushottam Lal Sharma from Jaipur Commissionerate are also among the medal recipients. The list further includes ASIs Shyam Lal from the reserve police line in Jodhpur Commissionerate and Swarn Singh from the city control room in Sriganganagar.Head constables Rajveer Singh of the 6th Battalion RAC in Dholpur, Surendra Singh of RPA Jaipur, and Pawan Kumar of CID-SSB Zone in Sri Ganganagar have been recognised as well. Constables Reventa Ram from the 1st Battalion RAC in Jodhpur and Suresh Kumar Sharma from reserve police line in Churu were also selected for their exemplary service. tnn
