KOTA: A two-storeyed building housing a restaurant cum beer bar collapsed today late morning in
Dhanmandi
area under
Gumanpura
police station area of
Kota
city. No loss of life was reported so far however some are feared trapped.
Four persons were rescued alive and were sent to
Maharao Bhim Singh
(MBS) hospital where one was identified as
Jitendra Meena
and is undergoing treatment in emergency ward while other sustained minor injury and is under medical observation. The third person was also rescued alive and sent to MBS hospital by ambulance.
Three to four others are feared to be trapped under the debris. NDRF,SDRF, civil defense teams are carrying out rescue operation at war footing.
The incident of building collapse was reported at police control room at 11.20am following which the rescue teams were rushed to the spot for operation.
