Jaipur: Rajasthan High Court on Friday ordered the registrar general of high court and the district judges to restore normalcy in the subordinate courts by hiring people from placement agencies by Monday.
The employees of the subordinate courts in the state have been on mass leave for the fifth day today demanding the implementation of the Shetty commission recommendations on their pay and perks.

The division bench of Justice Ajay Rastogi and J K Ranka's order followed a PIL by Sanjay Vyas, former president of Jaipur Bar Association, highlighting the plight of the litigants due to the strike by the employees hampering judicial work.
The court said, "We are of the considered view that the interests of the litigants are of paramount consideration and what may happen keeping their interests into consideration we consider it appropriate to direct that respondents and the administration to restore the normalcy in the functioning of the subordinate courts across the state forthwith and whatever additional measures are required they are at liberty to hire workforce from the placement agencies at the district level, " said the order.
The court had on Thursday directed government to form a committee to examine the demands of the striking employees and directed it to submit its report to the court within fifteen days. The committee members are chief secretary, law secretary, registrar general of the high court, advocate general and two striking union representatives.
