High hopes for school, college edu

Jaipur is trying to get more children back in school by increasing the budget for education and training in new age professions. The state also needs more attention from the central government in order to have a bigger impact. Shahzad Khan from an NGO called Aaghaz working with dropout girls in Jaipur's walled city said that the impact of the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is needed in order to get more children back in school. Puneet Sharma from an educationist said that training on job-oriented courses like artificial intelligence and robotics will give the state youths new wings.

Jaipur: The Budget impetus on bringing the out-of-school back to mainstream school education and imparting skill training in new-age professions is a much-needed push for the state. The budgetary allocation for the digital university and centre for excellence in Artificial Intelligence has to further scale up the technical education and startup ecosystem in the state.
“State has recorded a high out-of-school children due to Covid and needs extra attention and budget to bring them back into schools.
