JAIPUR: Get ready for a comfortable shock-proof ride in a city bus, equipped with four CCTVs cameras.
The Jaipur City Transport Service Limited (JCTSL) will run one such on a trial basis for a month on the Sanganer-Kukas route.
More than a year ago, the JCTSL purchased low-floor buses funded by Centre under Jawaharlal Nehru National Urban Renewal Mission (JNNURM) to improve the transport facilities for the commuters of the city.
But, this bus is different, said a JCTSL official.
JCTSL managing director Malini Agarwal said, "We are not purchasing it (Corona bus) as of now, but we have decided to run the bus on trial basis." She said that the bus will run on the same Sanganer-Kukas route on which the AC low-floor buses are currently plying.
The company representatives showed the bus to the JCTSL officials. They brought the 44-seater bus to the city.
A company official said a purchase decision would be taken considering its performance during the trial run. He said the hi-tech bus will have driver display screen.
