Health dept initiates consultations for vision document of Viksit Raj

Jaipur: In a move to accelerate the development of Rajasthan and elevate its status among the top states in the country, the health department has embarked on a mission to create a comprehensive vision document, Viksit Rajasthan -2030. This ambitious initiative aims to overhaul various sectors, particularly the healthcare domain.
Scheduled to take place from August 25 to September 5, consultations involving a diverse range of stakeholders have been organized to solicit valuable inputs for the creation of the detailed vision document. The state government is keen on integrating the suggestions of these stakeholders to craft a roadmap that will propel Rajasthan's growth trajectory.
Under the guidance of Chief Minister's Rajasthan Economic Transformation Advisory Council (CMRETAC), the health department is taking the lead in drafting this crucial vision document. Shubhra Singh, the additional chief secretary of the health department, expressed the importance of this undertaking, highlighting that a comprehensive action plan has been formulated in conjunction with the medical education department and Ayurveda department.
The consultations, spanning divisions and districts, will encompass participation from diverse segments including healthcare professionals, youth, social organizations, and relevant federations. The initiative further extends to include representatives from globally acclaimed entities such as WHO and UNICEF. Spearheaded by Suchi Tyagi, the Chief Executive Officer of Rajasthan state health assurance agency (RSHAA), a dedicated core group has been assembled. This core group is tasked with ensuring the timely and efficient completion of the ambitious vision document by 2030.
