Jaipur: Hashim Ansari of Jaipur has been declared ‘Junior Mr Rajasthan' in the 27th Junior Mr Rajasthan Bodybuilding Championship held here recently. Harshvardhan Singh of Ajmer became the runner-up, while Dhruv Raj of Kota finished as the first runner-up.
The prizes were distributed to the winners by Rajasthan Bodybuilding Association president Naveen Yadav, Girraj Khandelwal, Dr Jai Singh Shekhawat, Gopesh Kalyan and Mukesh Chaudhary.
In the junior competition, Mahadev Soni of Bikaner emerged as champion in the 55-kg weight category. Dhruv Singh of Kota stood first in the 60-kg group, while Kota's Abhishek Verma reigned supreme in the 65-kg section.
Chintu Sharma of Bharatpur bagged the first prize in the 55-kg. In other weight categories, Nikhil Chhipa of Bikaner (75-kg), Rohit Teji of Jodhpur (above 75-kg), Harshvardhan Singh of Ajmer (men's sports physique) and Chain Singh of Jaipur (Masters ground) won gold medals.
Rajasthan Bodybuilding Association president Naveen Yadav said that all the players who came first have been selected for the forthcoming National Junior bodybuilding championship. More details can be had from Naveen Yadav (9414066711).
