Government English medium schools to get temporary teachers in Rajasthan
JAIPUR: The
The department has just concluded the interviews of its teachers who showed interest in teaching in these schools and were selected enough to run a few schools.
The state is adding 300 more such schools from this academic year taking to the number of 563 schools has created a shortage. In the budget 2022-23, the government had announced to open 2,000 schools and hire 10,000 teachers for MGEMS. These schools have become flagship schools for the government with every school receiving huge interest from the parents. These are only English medium schools available under the government which provides free education is a reason for the unprecedented rush.
The remuneration of these teachers will be between Rs 15,000 to Rs 35,000 depending upon their category. The candidates will be at least graduates in English.
The amount will be calculated as remuneration of Rs 300 to 400 per hour with the highest amount shouldn’t exceed Rs 30,000. The condition would be that once the regular teachers will be recruited, they will have to leave without any demand.
“The condition would be that other than the English, they should be capable to teach like Math’s, Physics, Biology etc. “These teachers will be selected by the panel of a principal and two teachers at the respective school. In case the school doesn’t have senior teachers, the concerned DEO will arrange the same,” said an official.
“The number of schools opened is very high as compared to the number of teachers available with the government. Ideally, the government should have hired the teachers before opening new schools. The absence of teachers will have a counter effect on the students who have taken admission due to medium,” said Puneet Sharma, an expert on education.
