Jaipur: Ace forward Mukesh Choudhary will lead the Rajasthan team in the Santosh Trophy National Football Championship, organised by the All India Football Federation, scheduled to be held from January 21 to February 8 in Dibrugarh, Assam.The Rajasthan Football Association (RFA) secretary Dilip Singh Shekhawat informed that the state team arrived in Dibrugarh on Monday.

Rajasthan qualified for the final round of Santosh Trophy after winning the Group I qualification stage last month here at the Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium beating formidable Maharashtra and Gujarat.Rajasthan will open their campaign against Uttarakhand on Wednesday. The Mukesh-led squad will face Tamil Nadu (Jan 23), West Bengal (Jan 25), Assam (Jan 28) and Nagaland (Jan 30) in their next league matches.Before leaving for Assam, the team's training camp was held here at the Royal Football Ground under the supervision of coach Narendra Singh Rathore.
