Fern Nest Resort opens in Jaipur, eyes 70-80% revenue from weddings
Jaipur: The Fern Hotels & Resorts expanded its presence in Rajasthan with the launch of The Fern Nest Resort Jaipur, Series by Marriott, with the property betting on the booming destination wedding-market. The 107-room resort on the Ajmer road near Bagru is aiming to generate 70–80% of its revenue from weddings, reflecting the rapid rise of Jaipur as the most sought-after destination in the country. The hotel will also target the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions) segment and lifestyle events to diversify its business.

Noshir Marfatia, senior vice president (sales and marketing), Fern Hotels & Resorts by Series Marriott, said, "With Jaipur emerging as a preferred destination for weddings and large celebrations, we see significant potential in this segment and expect 70-80% of the property's revenue to come from wedding-related events." Marfatia added that the property will also focus on attracting corporate conventions, family celebrations and social events, given the growing demand for organised event spaces in the city. Being part of Series by Marriott, Fern Hotels seeks to leverage the global brand's extensive marketing network. Marfatia said that this exposure positions Fern Hotels as a trusted choice for hosting weddings, while benefitting from Marriott's loyalty rewards programmes.
