An estimate by the engineers state that JJM project worth around Rs 800 to Rs 900 crore would get affected because of the raids.

“The topography of the state, the Covid pandemic and lastly the Russia-Ukraine war had an impact on JJM projects in Rajasthan and by all means we are sure to miss the December 2024 deadline. We had geared up our efforts in the last one year and JJM projects were going on in full swing. Now, with these raids by ACB and then by the ED, JJM projects in Rajasthan would get delayed further,” said a senior engineer.
