Jaipur: To prepare for the next cycle of domestic season 2025-26, Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) ad hoc committee will organise Colvin Shield in May. RCA has informed all its District Cricket Associations (DCA) about it. "We have told all the DCAs to start the selection process of their respective district teams for the state-level competition," RCA ad hoc panel convenor and MLA Jaideep Bihani said.
Also, DCAs have been asked to organise summer coaching camps from April 15 April to 30 for the age-group players. "The camp will be there for Under-19 women players as well. The RCA will release the prescribed grant amount to all its district cricket centers for coaches, yoga teachers and for snacks of the players," Bihani added.
Steering committee formed: Rajasthan State Sports Council (RSSC) Monday constituted a steering committee comprising former cricketers - Rohit Jhalani, Vinod Mathur, Deepak Jain, Megha Gaur, Kuldeep Mathur, Gagan Khoda and Sanjay Vyas - to supervise, operate and protect cricket activities in the state and to provide guidance and suggestions.
The committee will regularly submit its report to the RSSC chairman.
