Candidates from Rajasthan shine bright on civil services success list
Jaipur/Alwar: Many aspirants from Rajasthan scored well in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) mains result declared on Tuesday.
Vedika Bihani, Abhijeet Yadav from Jaipur, Anupriya Chaudhary from Bikaner, Mukesh Dhaka and Pankaj Verma from Sikar, Mudita Sharma from Nagaur, Yash Kumar Sharma from Alwar city, are a few who cleared the examination successfully on Tuesday.
Abhijeet Yadav, a resident of Gopalpura in the city said that this was his second attempt at UPSC where he got AIR 440. He started preparing after leaving a well-paying job. Subhash Chand of Chaksu, Jaipur cleared the exam on Tuesday in seventh attempt. “I started preparing for UPSC in 2020 along with doing B.Tech from IIT-Mumbai. I gave my first attempt in 2021 and I could not clear the mains. After that I started preparing again and I have finally succeeded in this attempt. I always wanted to join the civil services, and today my dream has come true,” said Yadav.
Bihani from Jaipur has secured AIR 213 in her third attempt. She said that she stayed away from social media during her preparation for UPSC.
Yash Kumar Sharma from Alwar city cleared the exam in his third attempt and secured AIR 196 rank in UPSC exam. “If one is determined, then no one can stop them from reaching their destination,” he said.
Lokesh Sharma, Yash’s father said, “My son's achievement is a result of four years of his hard work. I was completely confident that this time he would get a good rank.”
From Bikaner, Anupriya Chaudhary got AIR 239 rank in UPSC. Daughter of Dr. Devendra Chaudhary, a joint director in health department Bikaner said, "She wanted to become an officer from her childhood and has made a place with a very good rank."
