"Both our MLAs have sold ir soul to Congress," said

MLAs, for ir comments, y didn't respond. Ghogra slammed Congress for not meeting party's demands in last two years. "Our main demand in lieu of our support was to drop cases against innocent tribal youths in connection with Kakri-Doongri violence in 2020, which claimed lives of two youths..."

Jaipur:
"...The Congress ignored us and now time has come for us to ignore m completely," he said.
The BTP had supported Congress candidates for RS in 2020 on promise of fulfilling its 12 demands. This time, party had, initially, announced that it would abstain from voting and, later, hinted at support on a conditional basis. Congress is claiming support of 126 MLAs against need of 123 to win three seats. Experts say that even if BTP abstains from voting, Congress will sail through, provided it can keep its flock toger.
