A total of 66 students were given scholarships worth Rs 9.63 lakh. For the first time 12 orphans were given assistance of Rs 30,000 each. Tanot school scholarships were given to 11 children, 36 scholarships to students belonging to BPL and 19 open scholarships were distributed. Tanot school headmaster was given Rs 5,000 and government senior secondary school at Lawan was selected for Guru Shiromani award under which the school principal

was given Rs 50,000. Himmat Singh who was also selected in RPS was felicitated.
